ASSOCIATE ARTIST – Florida Studio Theatre, a LORT D regional theatre in Sarasota, FL, is seeking a highly motivated and seasoned Associate Artist. This position will be tailored to the individual, and we are seeking candidates who have experience in the following areas: directing, acting, and/or teaching. The right candidate will have at least 5 preferably years of professional theatre experience or an equivalent. We are seeking a true company member who is authentic, emotionally resilient, passionate about theatre, responsible, a team player, flexible and confident. Hello Friends! I'm running a number of 2-hour Intensive Classes the week of September 14 - 18. This week will focus on reviewing fundamentals. Here is the planned schedule: Wednesday, September 16 2-4pm EST - Emotion + Emotion = Relationship 7-9pm EST - Setting up the Scene Thursday, September 17 7-9pm EST - Specificity and Articulation Friday, September 18 2-4pm EST - Active Listening and Spatial Awareness All classes will be over Zoom and restricted to 12 students max.
